The Meeting Place will initially be an online community. Over time we will add physical locations, where people can meet to learn, grow and share together.
The physical locations will be conducive to meeting for coffee or tea, as well as paricipating in various classes and other joint activities. For example, a house that is classified as both residential and commercial could serve this purpose.
The ground floor of the house would be a coffee shop/restaurant, with tables, chairs and comfy sofas that are suitable for social activities. The rooms in the upper floor and basement could be used for classes and other group activities. Alternatively, a commerical retail or office space might also be suitable.
The placement of the The Meeting Place's physical locations will depend upon the needs of the members. Since physical locations require investment for rent, furnishings and so on, these locations will be determined by the results of online member surveys.
These results will provide the equivalent of a market study, in order to ensure optimal placement of the physical facilities.
